Fiona and her happy new family.
Fiona

10-26-17 Fiona was adopted today. Fiona thrived the short time she was with his foster mom. Fiona was such a joy. She loved to sleep right next to her foster mom and would wake her up with kisses in the morning. Fiona was having her teeth cleaned and this wonderful couple was at the vet's office with their dog. They immediately fell in love with Fiona and wanted to adopt her. Fiona knew she had hit the jackpot. She now has a fur-brother and a mommy and daddy that are retired and will give her all the love and attention she deserves. Fiona is going to be a snow bird and is looking forward to cooler weather. Thank you to Fiona's furever mommy and daddy.

Harley and his new mom and dad. What a happy family.
Harley

10-25-17 Harley was adopted today. This sweet 10-month-old puppy started out life the hard way. Imagine this, you are only 9 months old, still very young, just a puppy, and you are now in your third home. That is what Harley the puppy has already gone through. His first family knew he was getting sicker and sicker and they did nothing. He never saw the vet and he never received any puppy care. He was close to death. Thankfully for Harley, his second family saved him. They took him in and immediately rushed him to the vet where he was diagnosed with pancreatitis, and then it was discovered Harley had a liver shunt - without surgery, he would likely die. That is when United Yorkie Rescue stepped in and this boy made the plane trip with the help of a wonderful flight attendant and the generosity of Delta Airlines to his foster home in Florida. Harley received his life saving liver shunt operation and after healing from his surgery he was 100% ready for his foster home. Today Harley found that wonderful home. He has a stay at home mom, a nice fenced yard, and best of all so much love, attention, and care. Harley will never lack for anything again in his life. Welcome home Puppy Boy, welcome home.

Precious

Have you ever seen two such sweet smiling faces? A frequent visitor to Foster's (besties forever) smitten by none other than sweet little Precious. This pup's new mom has been around this little girl since her arrival. Precious, always smiling, always happy, but not too keen on human hands finally found her furever in foster's best friend. Here, snuggled up together furever, and to beat the band, Precious shares her home still with foster as she will still visit and will stay when Mom's visiting grandkids at the beach.. All pups are delighted they didn't loose their best friend cause they all know she'll be back to visit real soon! Happy Tails, Precious, you got the best of both worlds, and everyone couldn't be happier.

Chapa

Early to rise was this little girl . . . she ate quickly, and ran out to potty. This was her big day. She would see if her furever who had been waiting forever would really like her. Her potential mom and foster mom had become almost related as they had sent messages and pictures for over a month predicting the anticipated date of when she could finally leave foster and take a gander at furever. Awaiting surgery due to low albumin then awaiting a biopsy on the mammary gland tumor to finally reveal it was benign had prolonged this day far too long. Now it was finally here. A two hour ride to destination furever was right outside that garage door, and away she went.

Upon arrival, Chapa met the sweetest lady, who had the nicest husband, and they had a little boy pup, not much larger than she, named Snowball. Chapa immediately took to the home, inspecting her territory, getting used to all the big rooms where she could just take off running. A huge deck was off the back of the home opened to a yard that was a sea of green grass surrounded by a beautiful privacy fence. Back inside and down the stairs, she discovered a room almost as big as the back yard where she and Snowball instantly began to run, play and explore.

When Foster Mom asked if she could stay, Mom said "She's captured our hearts", and in a New York minute, papers were signed, goodbye kisses exchanged, and Chapa's furever became a reality.

Daisy Doodle and her new family.
Daisy Doodle Puppy #2

10-15-17 Daisy Doodle the puppy was adopted today. Daisy Doodle was the last of the 3 puppies to get adopted. Lucky Foster Mommy got to spend more time with you. It has been a wonderful and very short 9 weeks that you have been with Foster Mommy and I have loved every minute of it. Daisy is so lucky that United Yorkie Rescue came to her rescue and saved her at just 3 weeks old. She is also lucky that her Mama loved her and cared for her until she was weaned and on her own. She also had her foster mommy that has loved her so very much and has taken such great care of her. But now the best part, Daisy now has her very own forever family to love her forever and ever and ever. Daisy is just over the moon and back in love with her new family. What a very lucky girl you are. Foster Mommy will truly miss you so much but is so happy for you. You deserve the best and you got it!!!

Tinker Bella Puppy #3

10-5-17 Tinker Bella the puppy was adopted today. tinker Bella came into rescue with us at just 3 weeks old with her mama and two sisters. She was such a wee little girl at just 7.4 oz, the smallest of the litter. How lucky were we that we were contacted by a wonderful family that had adopted from us before. They have waited patiently until Tinker was old enough and healthy enough to be adopted. I have truly enjoyed caring for Tinker Bella while she has been with me, but it was time for her to start her new life with her forever family. Lucky family, lucky Tinker Bella.

Molly Mae and her new dads. Happy together, forever.
Mollie Mae Puppy #1

9/29/17 Mollie Mae the puppy was adopted today. Mollie Mae came into UYR as a new born pup, just 3 weeks old, with her mom and two sisters from a horrible hoarding situation. We are so thankful that we were called on to help to get this little darling along with her Mama and siblings into rescue.

Her adoptive parents have waited patiently for Mollie Mae to be weaned and transitioned to puppy food. She also needed just a bit of time to be away from Mama to explore and grow on her own to be ready to make that next step to her forever home.

Well that next step was today. Mollie Mae's forever family came today to finally meet her. After lots of time playing, cuddling, and observing each other closely they all decided that this was a perfect fit. Mollie Mae packed up all of her goodies and essentials and off she went with her new forever parents. I'm not sure she even gave Foster Mom a look over the shoulder of her new dad as they walked off to the car. She was quite comfy in his arms.

Mollie Mae, you are a very lucky girl and have come such a long way from the day I got you. Your Foster Mom will miss you so much as I have so enjoyed taking care of you and watching you grow from such a small pup to where you are now. You are such a big girl now and ready to have your own life. Happy Tails sweet little Mollie Mae. Your forever life begins today.

ZOURI LOVES HER NEW MOM
Zouri

9/24/17 Amazing Zouri was adopted today. It's true that miracles do happen. Here is the sad story of Zouri. One day, just before pulling onto her road, this lady happened to see this little pup. She picked her up and began her search for her owner. She knocked on several doors trying to find the owner. She learned that Zouri had been dropped off at their house because the previous owner knew they had a Yorkie and thought that they may be able to take care of another one. It seems this little 4-year-old girl, who they named Zouri, was hit by a car and now can't use her back legs. She either had severe nerve damage or was paralyzed. This person knew she couldn't take care of Zouri and through much effort and time United Yorkie Rescue took in this sweet girl.

This is where her sad story ends and her happy story begins again. Her foster mom took her to the vet right away and found out that Zouri was indeed paralyzed. Then some wonderful people came together and Zouri was given a set of wheels for her back legs and Zouri found her "legs" again. Once she received her cart and wheels she made amazing progress, both physically and mentally. The painful wounds she had when she was rescued from dragging herself on the ground healed. It was a sight to see, Zouri zooming around the backyard and even outrunning her fur siblings.

Zouri had it all expect for her forever home and the miracle continues. That happened today. Zouri found her forever home and her forever family. She now has a life that any dog would want. She has a wonderful forever mom who loves Zouri to the moon and back. She loved Zouri before she even met her. She knew their lives were meant to be joined together forever. There will be no end to the love and care Zouri will get. She has a nice yard to continue to put those wheels to use running around and just living the life she was always meant to live. Zouri is another United Yorkie Rescue little miracle and we can only say Happy Life, Happy Tails little Zouri.

RUBY ROSE AND HER NEW MOM AND DAD

Ruby Rose and her new family
Ruby Rose

9/25/17 Ruby Rose has been adopted. What a lucky, lucky girl she is. Ruby came from a horrible hoarding situation into rescue with United Yorkie Rescue with her three 3 week old puppies. This was not her first litter. At the very young age of 18 months old she had already had two litters of puppies, poor darling. Ruby had not known the life of a happy, loved, wanted 4 legged family member but that of a dog in a house with 19 other dogs starving for love, attention, food, and a clean bed to sleep in.

Ruby Rose has been in doggy heaven in her foster home with her babies. She was treated like the little queen that she is, and had all of the luxuries any little girlie girl should get. She was a great mama but the time had come when she had weaned the puppies and was looking for her time in life, her very own time in life, just for her. Well that day came today. Ruby was adopted by the most amazing, loving family that will give her all of the time and love that she needs to adjust to her new life. They will give her all of the encouragement and security and understanding to make the rest of her life wonderful.

Ruby Rose will be missed so much by her foster mom, but Foster Mom is over the moon and back excited and happy for this little queen. You, my love, are a very luck girl. Happy Tails to you, Ruby Rose.

Sweet Lena found her forever mommy
Lena

9/21/17 Lena was adopted today. Lena has gone through so much. She had been with her first mommy since she was a puppy, but then her life changed. Lena's mommy wasn't home very much and Lena was left alone for hours and hours. She was sad to be alone. Her mommy knew Lena needed a home with someone home most of the day, and so Lena became a United Yorkie Rescue pup. Lena was doing great, then she got sick and the vet said she had some fluid in her heart and put her on special medicine. Lena hoped that someone would still want her to be their forever baby. Lena knew the medicine was making her feel better, but some people might still not want her. Then someone did want her. Today the best thing happened and sweet Lena is so excited. She was adopted and went to her forever home. She has the perfect forever Mommy who is retired and can spend her days doting on her precious new fur baby. Lena will be the only pup in the home and she will get so much love and attention and all the belly rubs she wants. It's more than she could have ever hoped for. Lena will give her new mommy lots of kisses and love back. Lena is now able to call Minnesota and Florida home. Thank you to Lena's furever Mommy.

Cary and his new fur brother, mom, and dad.
Cary

9/16/17. Cary was adopted today. Cary was one of the hoarder pups that were rescued by United Yorkie Rescue. He was so happy to be out of that stinky home with all those nasty fleas and so many dogs, he could never get any attention. He loved being in his foster home where his foster mom and dad took such good care of him. He got some nice warm baths and medicine to kill the fleas, a soft bed, and plenty of love and attention. All Cary needed was a home of his own. That happened today. His has a wonderful new mom and dad and best of all a fur brother who is just his size and just his age. They already are playing together and having a great time in the fenced backyard. Cary is so happy. He has a new best friend, and a stay a home mom and dad where there will always be one empty lap just for him when he is tired and needs a rest from tumbling and wrestling with his new best buddy.
