Alexis and new mom
Alexis

12-30-16 Happy New Year to Alexis. She was adopted today and now has a wonderful new home. Alexis did great in her former home until the babies started to walk and they thought Alexis was their little toy. She was very unhappy and feeling stressed and ignored. Her owners knew Alexis needed to be in a home with no children and have a mom and dad who were there most of the day to take care of her, love her, and shower her with kisses and attention. Today Alexis found just that perfect home. She has a stay at home mom and dad and she will be their only baby to love for all her life. Alexis will get to go everywhere a pup can go. She will have lots of toys and doggie beds. Most of all Alexis will know that she is finally at home to stay.

Maverick

12-28-16 Maverick had no idea that life for him was going to get amazingly better the day he and several of his housemates were taken from their home where he and 40 other dogs all lived. Maverick was part of the Christmas Miracle when United Yorkie Rescue rescued 8 yorkies out of a hoarding situation. Before becoming a United Yorkie Rescue dog Maverick never knew the attention and kindness or even the touch of a person. He only knew life in a crate surrounded by so many other dogs. Maverick spent a short time in his foster home when just the exact right family knew he was meant to be their forever and ever dog. He will never again be left in a crate for hours and hours. He has a wonderful home and a living human to care for him. Maverick will get all the attention, love, and care he had never received before. Maverick would be the first to tell you that there is nothing better than the love of a mom and dad and the freedom of being allowed to go outside, to run around if he wants, or even to just sit in the warm sun. With overflowing happiness for Maverick, we know he is home at last.

Layla

12-26-16 For Layla, one of our Christmas miracle pups, had her second miracle today. She was adopted by a great family who are ready to make her their new Christmas baby. Layla spent the first year and half of her life getting almost no human attention, care, or love. She found all that in her foster home and while she was there, she learned that people can be kind, caring, and can be trusted. Today, the day after Christmas, she went to her forever home and that love, kindness, and caring she had come to know will continue. She has a wonderful mom and dad, two older real boys, and a puppy just about her size who is ready to play, play, play with Layla. She has everything a young pup could want. A wonderful forever home, a great human family, and a full time playmate who is just a little younger than her. They will grow up together and be friends forever. From a home with 40 other dogs and so much neglect to a wonderful family with a new playmate and so much love, Layla found her happy life for sure.

Frankie

12-2-16 Frankie is just the happiest, sweetest fellow. This young pup was surrendered to United Yorkie Rescue because his former family knew that such a young, energetic dog needed someone home with him much more than they were able to be. He needed someone to help him with his house training and give him the opportunity to run around and play with other dogs. Frankie is such an all around great dog. He loves people, other dogs, and just about anyone and everyone who will give him attention to him and play wit him and be his friend. Frankie found a perfect forever home. He has a stay at home mom and dad, doggie friends that live right on his street, and the promise of dog parks, car trips, and days spent with fun and game and love and attention. Frankie won't ever be left alone again. His mom and dad have promised him that where ever they go he goes too.

Mimi

12-22-16 Mini Mimi was adopted today. This tiny sweetheart, only 6 years old and just 4 pounds, was rescued from a neglectful and unfortunate situation. She was severely matted and undernourished. Her coat was dirty and her skin was dry. Her coat was so bad she had to be shaved completely down. Her teeth were in horrible shape, probably causing her a lot of pain.Mimi was taken to the vet right away and was started on her road to recovery and a healthy life. Her teeth were fixed, she was spayed, vaccinated, and given medication to begin her healing. Under the wonderful care of United Yorkie Rescue and her terrific foster mom Mimi gained some weight and became a playful little pup. She loved being petted and cuddled by her people. All she needed was her forever home. That happened for little Mimi today. She went to a wonderful home with a perfect mom and dad and a new fur brother to hang out with. Mimi will continue to be loved and cared for for the rest of her life. Mimi's new mom and dad will shower her with love and affection. Mimi has a real true family and a home forever.

Diesel

12-18-16 It took a while but finally someone realized what a great little dog Diesel is. Diesel came to his foster home back in April. He was surrendered when his human Mommy passed away and the remaining family could not take care of him. They reached out to United Yorkie Rescue to find him his perfect forever home. Diesel has Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency. His pancreas is not able to make the enzymes necessary for food digestion. This is easily managed with the right diet and special enzymes added to his food daily. So he waited in his wonderful foster home for the right people to come along and know he was worth the care and love he deserved in spite of the EPI. And today it happened! Diesel was adopted by the most wonderful people. They knew they loved him the second they saw him, and Diesel knew he loved them right back. He now has a stay at home mom and dad and will have so many friends in his neighborhood to hang out with. He will be the only dog in is new home and that's just the way he likes it. He gets all the love and all the attention. It took some time but it was worth it. Diesel is home at last and it will be forever.

Beau, Jackson and new mom
Beau

12-16-16 Beau was adopted today. That was one great thing that happened but actually two great things happened because he was adopted with his brother Jackson. Beau and Jackson could not be any happier now that they will really and finally be together forever. Beau is a great dog but his former owner did not have time to take care of him properly so he became a United Yorkie Rescue dog. He couldn't be in his foster home with his brother Jackson and he missed him terribly. When they are able to be together, they were so happy. They kissed and played and tails never stopped wagging. Now they both have the best forever home. There is a mom who will love them both. She will taking them on walks and to the doggie park and everywhere little doggies can go. Beau and Jackson are as happy as two dogs can ever be. A forever home with a wonderful mom and knowing they will be together forever.

Bravo and new family
Bravo

Bravo is home with his new forever Mommy and Daddy!

They had so many home visits before I placed him, he wasn't interested in leaving with me tonight. This little guy had so many changes in the last year, I wanted to make sure he had plenty of time to know and trust his last move. He is going to be so pampered with Jim and Virginia, I wanted to move in myself. This last year has been very stressful on Bravo, I am grateful it's come to a very happy tails ending.

Gunner

12/4/16 Gunner is heading to Ohio. He found his perfect home and he couldn't be happier. Gunner came out of the shelter where he ended up through no fault of his own. His foster family found out that he is the sweetest little dog and just loves everyone. He has a heart murmur but it doesn't affect this boy at all. He is happy and playful and full of love and kisses. All he needed was a home to call his very own. Gunner found that home and he is now living with the most wonderful mom and dad any pup could want. They drove for hours and hours just to get him and take him home with them. That is how special they think Gunner is. Gunner will get to everywhere they go, even to Grandma's house, and it is always fun at Grandma's. Gunner is living the best life ever.
