Lily and new mom
Lily

12-4-16 Little Lily was adopted today. Her former mom had to leave Lily alone for hours at a time while she worked and Lily was very sad. She spent her days waiting and waiting for her mom to come home from work to be with her. It was so hard for her first mom to give Lily the time and attention she needed. That is when she became a United Yorkie Rescue sweetheart. Lily did great in her foster home. She is smart, lively, and full of life. It was love at right sight the minute Lily and her forever mom met. They knew in an instant they belonged together forever and that is exactly what happened. Lily is now happily living with her forever and ever mom who is home all day to cuddle and love and play with sweet Lily. Happy Tails to Lily for the rest of her days.

Ziggie

12/3/16 Little, adorable Ziggie was adopted today. And even though his new mom and dad know he still needs a little more training with doing his business outside they already love him and will cherish him forever. When his former owners knew that Ziggie was not getting the time he needed to complete his training and he was being left alone often, they reached out to United Yorkie Rescue to find Ziggie that perfect home with someone who will be able to give him all the time and attention he needed. And sure enough Ziggie found that home that was just right for him. When his new mom and dad have to leave Ziggie for a little while he has a fur brother just his age to play with so he will never ever be really alone. Ziggie is one happy little fellow now.

Annabelle and new mom
Annabelle

12-3-16 Annabelle has been through so much in her life. She was homeless and found herself in a shelter with neither a home or a family anymore. She had a hernia and a cherry eye both of which required surgery. She needed her teeth taken care of and a good grooming. Thank goodness a United Yorkie Rescue angel rescued her and Annabelle received all the care and the love and attention she so badly needed. Today Annabelle has her early Christmas present. She went to her forever home with her new forever mommy and daddy. They will be home with her a lot to give her lots of time and attention and love. She has her very own dodgy bed, and doggy toys, and a fenced yard for running and playing, though she will be mostly on their laps giving lots of kisses. We are so happy for little Annabelle. She is home at last.

CArly and new mom
Carly

112-1-16 It finally happened for this adorable, precious puppy. Carly went to her forever home today. She came to United Yorkie Rescue because her first family realized they were no longer able to give Carly the care she needed to fix and heal her broken leg. She was only 4.5 pounds and the little jump from the couch to the floor was too much for this tiny baby. Carly was with her foster family for over 3 months getting her leg cared for and healed. But finally it was time for her to go to her forever home and to her family, and what a wonderful new home and family she now has. She has a new fur sister, a stay at home mom and dad, and a yard just right for running and playing. They will take Carly wherever they go that pups are allowed. She will have great fun playing with them and her new sister. Carly has only happiness and love waiting for her for the rest of her life. Happy Tails, Carly.

Jake

11-19-16 Hooray, Jake was adopted today!! Jake was "on the road" all alone out in the country until he happened upon a nice man that was working on his camper. Out popped Jake from under the camper and nearly scared the nice man to death! The nice man's wife recognized he was no ordinary dog so they took him in for a month and searched high and low for the owner to no avail. That was when United Yorkie Rescue stepped in to give Jake the medical care and home he needed. He is the happiest little fellow and now he will finally have a forever home of his own. He has a stay at home mom and dad who are ready to shower him with all the love and attention and care he could ever want. They will take him wherever they go that a sweet dog like Jake can go. Goldie and new family
Goldie - Muffin

11-19-16 Sweet 3.5 year old Goldie was adopted today. She went to a wonderful family and now she will be the only dog getting all the love and all the attention. Goldie was found dumped in the middle of a country road in southwest Virginia. The family that took her in took her took her to the vet found out that she was not chipped and had no collar or identification. They could not find her original owners after contacting local Animal Control, shelters, and putting up flyers. They could not keep Goldie and contacted United Yorkie Rescue. How sad to be only 3 years old and to have gone from one home to another home and again to another home. She is such a sweet girl, she loves to be petted and cuddled and held and now all that will be happening for her. She has a family that will give her time to adjust to her new home and family with patience and kindness. She has a work from home mom, some really nice older kids to hang around with, a nice fenced yard, and lots and lots of love and kisses. Goldie is so happy. She knows she is home for good.

Bridgette

11-6-16 Hello, it me Bridgette. I was adopted today. I have a new mom and dad and they won't be traveling and leaving me alone like what happened to me in my last home. I won't have to stay in a crate all day for a really long time. That made me pretty sad. Now I have a new family with a mom and dad who are home all the time. I even have a fur brother to hang out with. I am so excited because I love being around my people and having lots of love and attention. I am one happy girl again. My foster mom said this home would be my really true forever home. Hooray for me!

Max

10/31/16 Max came to UYR with somewhat of an ambiguous past since being found as a stray and taken in by a family. After that family member passed away, Max found himself in a home with several children who were very lively, and not to Max's liking. So he went to another home where other, bigger dogs were taking much advantage of him. In order to provide Max with a better life, his owner then surrendered him to UYR.

Today, Max has hit the jackpot! He has found a wonderful furever home with Tom and Donna, and his new sister Lilly Bell. Although he will be truly missed at his foster parent's home, they know he is truly blessed to have been adopted by his new family. Max will definitely learn what it means to be loved and spoiled. Congratulations, Tom, Donna, Lilly Bell, and most of all, Max!

Hunter and new parents
NC Hunter

8-29-16 Hunter of North Carolina has been adopted! Tiny, sweet Hunter found his perfect forever home. He was sadly tossed away into the shelter when his days as a breeder dog were over. There was no way United Yorkie Rescue was going to let that be the end of Hunter. He was taken into his foster home and given the care he so badly needed. Little Hunter found his furever with a wonderful couple. He will be the only one, and there are two beautiful teenager girls that are just so happy to fill the void in their hearts after loosing their little Yorkie in June due to illness. They were smothering him with love and kisses. Hunter's new mom works from home so he very rarely is left alone. He had a new crate, new toys, and an entire counter top full of his favorite treats and food. He's all set to meet his new vet on Thursday. Hunter has a nice little back yard and he has a sidewalk where he can walk with Mom and the girls to visit all the neighbors in their little community. Hunter's foster mom left him in his new dad's arms and they were bonding nicely as Mom was preparing him a snack. Happy Tails for a Happy Pup and brand new family and a furever home.
